Enjoy this mountain home nestled in the firs of Big Cottonwood Canyon just one minute form Brighton ski resort and only two minutes from Solitude ski resort. If you prefer privacy and economy to the crowds and expense of the ski hotels and condos, this cabin located on Big Cottonwood Creek next to the cross country ski trails, is the answer.

The ski town of Brighton is located at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon just 45 minutes from Salt Lake International Airport. Brighton and Solitude are both intermediate, family ski resorts located in the heart of Utah's world famous Wasatch Mountains. Alta and Snowbird are just one canyon away; and Park City, Deer Valley and Sundance are only a short drive away. If you are adventurous, you can ski several of these resorts on the same day following the interconnect with a guide. Or if you prefer cross country skiing, one of the state's best groomed trails is only 50 yards from your front door.

The cabin itself features a native stone fireplace in the living room with a beautiful view of the woods and stream off the front porch. Although the cabin is well heated, there is an ample supply of firewood just outside the front door. There are two private bedrooms with a double bed in each. A third bedroom is actually a charming room with two sets of bunk-beds and a crib. Two small lofts, accessible by ladders, have padded carpet floors that create additional room for those in sleeping bags. The living room contains a fold-out couch. There are one and one half baths and a complete kitchen with microwave, dishes, and utensils. We furnish all linens, pillows, towels, and blankets. All you need to worry about are your skis and food. The cabin also has a color television set and VCR (there is no television reception in the canyon, but video stores are adjacent to local grocery stores). Private parking is provided, but because of the great amounts of snow in this canyon, four-wheel drive is strongly recommended. Pets and smoking are not allowed.
